I picked this up to use with my MacBook Pro. It works with either Apple Or Windows. The hard drive is a little bit wider than a deck of cards,but not as thick. The outer case is made from plastic and there is a twelve inch cable that comes with it. Oh, there is also a little white light that tells you when it is working. It's a plug and play device. The Mac makes it easy to use and after some formatting it has been backing up the MacBook every day. If you are looking for an external storage drive this one is a good choice.

its a great hard drive for an Xbox, computer or PlayStation it holds a lot of games or other things that you would want saved on it, It is also very easily portable.

Works well with my XBOX One - so far, it is working seamlessly without any major lag or issues. We've enjoyed being able to load more games to the system, and it was hard to beat the sale price of this device.

WD needs to provide written instruction on the use of their products. I had difficulties using this product because I already had WDSmartware installed on my PC and I found out that Smartware is no longer used. Therefore it is very confusing to use older external WD portable drives. More information and instructions on their products would be very helpfull.

Good fairly inexpensive USB HDD. Was surprised that NTFS is the format and a Mac is supported by an app. Had to use Mac tools to reformat the drive to ExFAT before using as a transport drive between Windows and Mac.

love how easy the set up is with this hard drive and how small and portable the product is holds alot of memory and works with windows or mac's

I have been buying western digital drives for a long time because of the reliability of them. I know everyone has different experiences with different drives so I am only speaking for myself her. These drives come with some good tools loaded on the drive. These work great t and are very portable.

Pro's: - lightweight but the case doesn't feel cheap - Good data copy rates - even though I didn't use a USB3.0 port to transfer my files - Easy Plug and Play setup Con's - Non Really If you watch the BB ads, I'm sure you could get this quite a bit cheaper closer to Black Friday. My main purpose for buying this drive was to store a backup of my music and photo files. Since I'm only using this as a storage device, it is plenty fast enough for copying my files onto it. You might want to go with the Passport if you need to transfer files for gaming.
