Pro's: - lightweight but the case doesn't feel cheap - Good data copy rates - even though I didn't use a USB3.0 port to transfer my files - Easy Plug and Play setup Con's - Non Really If you watch the BB ads, I'm sure you could get this quite a bit cheaper closer to Black Friday. My main purpose for buying this drive was to store a backup of my music and photo files. Since I'm only using this as a storage device, it is plenty fast enough for copying my files onto it. You might want to go with the Passport if you need to transfer files for gaming.

I picked this up just to use for my PS4 for extra space. Works great. PS4 picked it up as soon as I plugged it in. Keep all my games on there. No issues.

Western Digital equipment is the best, in my opinion. I've been using WD hard drives in all my computers for years and this portable 2TB is the perfect "on-the-go" complement for any laptop or other portable equipment.

I purchased this when I bought my new computer, as my old laptop has had many crashing issues in the past. I look forward to being able to store my data securely in the case my computer has future issues.

Good drive but don’t like the software that has to run on my desktop

The setup for my Mac was a little deceptive as I had to format it. It wasn’t quite as simple as the box said it would be, but not complicated either. It transfers quickly so I am happy about that, but it doesn’t like the computer goes to sleep while it’s plugged in am does a full system check which can take 5-10min. The best part about it is how tiny it is!

quick & easy to use, 2TB for this $60 is a steal, I would definitely recommend this to everyone who's looking for an affordable hard drive with lots of space
