This was purchased to augment storage capability for PS4 gaming system. It was easy to install and has thus far proved to be problem free.

Does what it's intended to do, and with the added benefit of being on the inexpensive side.

I had purchased a Seagate 2tb hard drive just a month ago and the transfer rate was about a third slower so I was pleasantly surprised when the WD kept to it's advertised transfer of 100 mbs.

Great HDD that serves the purpose of storing all of my media and work files. Easy to transport too and silent, also.

This is a great drive at a great price. Pick one up for your backups. USB3 interface is fast, so is the drive. Lots of space, good quality!

I am not terribly impressed by this external drive. It has integrated apps and requires you to create a WD account. While the idea may seem good, it has just turned out to be complicated to manage and not that user friendly. I've had to Google twice how to eject the thing because it's not as easy as it should be. This WD drive is connected to a PC laptop. I am comparing it to another external drive, by a different brand, that I have connected to an iMac. That other drive is super simple. It's a drive, period, not a whole program. It performs its backups and works as you expect it to work, you don't have to look up how to do everything. Now, I do not know if these differences have to do with the different operating systems, Mac vs PC, or if it just has to do with brands of the external drives themselves. But as it is, I'm considering not buying this brand again.

We bought this for extra space for games on the XBox One, and works like a charm. Was less expensive than buying a console with more space.

This WD USB hard drive is simple plug and play. Very compact and easy to transport if you want to. It is also extremely reliable.

This works perfectly for my son, he’s always running out of room for his gaming and so this helps him with extra space and it was a good price too!

It does exactly what I need it to do even though I don’t use it for its back up function.

Using for ps4 pro and its working with it had no problem product is good and 2 tb is enough for me will recommend to everyone

The last one I bought I dropped and it broke, lost all my pictures. This time I bought the warranty. If you buy this I highly recommend you but it. Even a small drop can cause you to lose everything.

This is great if you want adequate storage for your info.

I bought this for my ps4 as a deal of the day, once it was formatted it's worked perfectly as extra storage. The only downside is that it's already half full so I should have gotten a 3 or 4 tb
