Easy to use with plenty of storage for what I need. Small enough, which makes for easy transportation.

Used for Music. Worked great. I exchanged it for a SSD one. No difference in sound. This one vibrates a little bit, no big deal. Cable is perfect length.

Awesome portable hard drive! Holds everything I need for my business!

2TB is way more than I need at home, and the USB 3.0 is a fast interface so the backups are very fast. I store my sensitive files (finances, taxes, etc) on this disk, and unplug it when I'm not using it, because that kind of air gap use is the best way to avoid hackers. Of course, you've still got to watch out for key loggers or viruses when you plug it in, but a good virus/firewall program should prevent that. Anyhow I like the compact size of this thing, and getting power off the USB.

I always like having a portable storage hard drive with me while travelling on business or vacation. This fits the bill nicely.

Bought this for my husband's home computer that runs multiple Linux OS systems. Despite the quad-boot setup this external hard drive was setup quickly and easily. He encrypted it using Veracrypt 1.24 and now enjoys on the fly saving and retrieving of data. The product doesn't mention Linux OS systems but it can be used with them and as my husband did, can encrypt the entire drive or break it up into various containers as your particular needs dictate. Only issues are the drive is small (easily sits next to or on the box) and the linking cable is rather short (imagine that a longer one can be found if needed). The drive is very light but feels well made and durable ( has to be as anything my husband handles better be well built). Overall no complaints and works as advertised, He loves it so that is one big vote of confidence as he always find something to complain about. Be advised that if you encrypt the entire drive (1.9 TB) and fill it up a lot as opposed to smaller containers the time to retrieve will be longer but still the Veracrypt app is fast and easy to use. I am sure the drive works equally as well for the Mac OS or Windows OS systems and have built in software for Windows that we erased and don't need.
