    WD Easystore drives have been excellent to expand storage for my MacBook Pro and provide backup. No drive lasts forever. The 2TB drive can be handy to back up your computer in case of virus infection. Remember to keep it DISCONNECTED to guard against virus issues. Burning back up DVDs works too. The Russians are out there. I think I see a black helicopter hovering near mybackyard.

    This external drive was purchased specifically for home use and not travel. I did not ever expect to make use of it as I have but in today's digital world one can rapidly fill up this drive. I have found it easy to use and fast in transferring files. This is an excellent drive for using at home, or anywhere for that matter.

    We took the drive to the IBM computer of the person who needed to provide us files, thinking it would work both ways, but it didn't. Perhaps this was partly our fault? Don't know for sure, but we needn't yet another piece of equipment to download files from IBM, and then be able to use them in our Macs.

    Works great for backing up computer(s) on a schedule or for 1-time backup. Would also work well for occasional storage of important photos/documents/etc. It is very light and portable; Western Digital app is easy to navigate and set up scheduled backups. There is really not much to dislike about this unit - catch one on sale, and you've got a great deal!
