    This external hard drive was super easy to install and the computer set it up right away. we had run out of storage space on one of our computers that had an internal 1 TB hard drive, couldn't save games or anything and I didn't want to erase anything i had saved. This little hard drive solved all my storage problems. I really recommend it

    When we got a new desktop computer I wanted to carry all data from the home computer onto the new one. This was the perfect solution I attached it to the old computer copied all the user data into a folder. Then I attached the external drive to the new computer and mapped the drive. I didn’t have to worry about losing any information from my wife’s special projects.

    Snagged this external HDD to store videos, documents and pictures. It's slower than an SSD, but if you need it as storage, it does the job.

    Drive works great as portable storage, I am currently using it to host a few VM's for software testing. It is a little sluggish at this task but I fully expected that when purchasing a non SSD. Overall performance is great for external backup and storage, the drive is light, and the only thing I wish it had was usb 3.1 or thunderbolt support.
