Not much information out there exists on this product. It is almost like they created it, but then gave up on the product itself. That is what worried me the most, but it ended being a good product. There are small issues with it, but nothing that can't be overcome with know-how. The one issue that is frustrating is that when the computer goes to sleep, the mac partition of the drive has a hard time ejecting.... Not sure if this is the hardware of the computer or the software of the drive. I really just bought it because it was the cheapest one. However, I don't know if I would go with this one again.

Easy to use and store. Good quantity of storage for the price. Could not give 5 stars as I don't yet know how well it holds up over time.

I purchased this WD external hard drive because my Xbox One 500GB ran out of storage (only 350GB is usable). Purchased this 2TB for $59.99 and it’s a great value. Plug into the top USB port on Xbox One and 1.8TB space is added to my Xbox.

Unreal amount of space for any games you need to save. Easy to use!

I bought this hard drive to help me backup a bunch of files off of my main computer to free up some space... Did one transfer of a few folders (about 10 GB worth), no problems... Then I attempted to transfer the entirety of my old external drive onto this one (nearly 1 GB of files)... The transfer started okay... but before long, it said "The request failed due to a fatal device hardware error" ... I skipped that message, and then it aborted the transfer altogether. When I checked the drive to see what had transferred... only a few 1 kb files had successfully been written... BUT what is even worse: (a) I can no longer access the files that WERE successfully written to this "easystore" drive (I was just about to delete them from my recycle bin... good thing I hadn't done that yet!!) (b) I can't even erase or format the drive. It is literally broken. It appears that, after a SINGLE use, the drive actually FAILED (irrevocably) on the second attempt to even use it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, or be prepared to pay the price when you suddenly lose all of your information stored on it...
