Stopped Working After a Year, Worthless Warranty
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this drive in November 2022 and died about a year later. Last month, I found the box that stated it had a two year warranty. Took it back to BB (since it is a BB exclusive) and they told me that I had to deal with the manufacturer. Looked at the manufacturer's website and too many requirements to return it (packaging, etc.). Besides, I am hesitant to send all my data in (I expected BB to check that it wasn't working and destroy it in front of me or give it back and get a new one). So the warranty is totally worthless. With so many good reviews, I have to assume that I was one of the unlucky ones to get a defective item, but the warranty is totally worthless.

Great External HDD

It is a great drive, especially if you need the storage. The read and write speeds are very fast for the price. Would recommend to anyone who wants a high-storage mechanical drive. The only real downside to this product is that it isn't a Solid State Drive.
