Its a Hard Drive

I hasn't crashed or failed in a year that I've owned it. Its reliable and it has normal speeds. If you're looking for a downside I guess it's a bit thicker, other than that its a good hard drive.

Using as external storage on PS4

Got it home and plugged into the PS4 and used the console to format. Was able to move some of the data from the console to the drive and now new games load to the drive. I don't have any problems with slowdowns or lag in the game. Highly recommend for this application!

set it and forget it

Purchased for my uncle's new Dell XPS computer and it very easily plugged in back and sets atop the tower out of site and out of mind. Pay attention when setting up if transfer files from your old PC to your new, it can be a little tricky if you miss the point to do so in the setup wizard.

WD-Easystore 2TB External Drive

As we all know, today's computers do not come with as much hard drive space as the older models. This one is easy to use and holds lots of files.

So far so good as a Time Machine drive.

I tried to fix it every way I knew how. I finally gave up a picked up this drive so I could go into safe mode and back up the whole system. A day later, the operation was a success, and I like the time machine concept now.
