    Despite having the software installed on my computer, the drive wasn’t showing up on my Mac. I have a newer model and it isn’t compatible with the newer macs which would have been good to know. I did return it to buy the WD HD for Mac. If you have a PC I do recommend!

    Haven’t really used it yet but have the same type in a 1TB drive. I would expect this one to perform as well. Just needed more storage.

    good to back up laptop just in case of emergency. years ago we almost lost all our data so now i back up every couple weeks just in case. This one was recommended by Geek squad

    Hard drive is a snap to insatll and is recognized by Windows instantly. The software does not perform. It has never run the scheduled back-ups.
