WD produces high quality products and their services are only a call way, if you need any services. WD-Easystore is a good product for storing files like family photos and movies. I highly recommend this product.

At first the sleep timer was a hassle and is still only 30 minutes max. But it seems to wake up when addressed after 30 minutes. I have an older 1tb model that goes to sleep and can only wake with restart PC

I tried other brands and ran into errors like corruption issues, but with WD, I can backup my files without all problems. I am happy about that!
