First when I bought it brand new, the drive was locked and I couldn’t upload anything into it, I had to go back to Best Buy to get them to format since it was allowing me to format it. I was at my event and the hard drive didn’t even show up on my laptop. Waste of $100. Best Buy told me it was my Mac adapter that was the problem even though I JUST bought a new adapter from that same Best Buy after they told me my other adapter which I bought from them was the problem. It’s too late for me to even return it. Don’t buy from Best Buy.

Nothing fancy, just reliable and spacious storage. I use it to supplement the internal storage on a PS4 and it is doing the job just fine. Not much to say beyond that.

Great Storage for Gaming

A must buy. Going to get another for my wifi network for backup Photos, videos, and movies without plugging into a computer. I can just backup overnight.

When plugged in, it stays powered and does not have to cycle up as most usb powered hard drives do. I don't use wd auto back up. Great for storing movies, music, etc. and fits easily into a pocket in my laptop bag. Worth the money
