    The laptop that I purchased had a 512 terrabyte solid state drive that made for a very fast computer but did not provide enough storage for the many high megapixel photographs that I process. This external drive provides the space that I need.

    Got this backup drive to replace a previous Seagate backup drive. MUCH smaller and doesn't require a separate power cord. Gets power through the USB connection. The included Wester Digital tools provide easy disk management optins and firmware update checks.

    Formatting took less than a minute with Disk Utility. Drive is from a reliable brand with good capacity. This is large enough to copy entire Mac HD and then add files back selectively.

    Used this HD to add external HD space on my PS4. Works great. I have not seen any lag when loading or playing a game. Easy to connect and integrate with the PS4 and took only minutes and I was loading up new games on the drive through the PS4.
