I found this unit to be perfectly reliable. It supports fast data transfer rates and provides a ton of storage. I consolidated a bunch of old system backup images onto this single unit, releasing a bunch of old internal drives I had been saving.

does the trick. need to have this to protect your data in case of hard drive failure

I bought this for my PS4. Now I will never have to worry about having too many games and not enough storage. I have nothing bad to say about this. Does what it’s meant to do. Recommended to my friends

I purchased 2 of these for a gift. I had such a good experience with them, that I risked giving them. I use mine to store photos and music, and the other as a backup. I have 6 computers (work and home), and I like being able to move my files to any of them.

I wanted a portable hard drive for my laptop backups and other files. This drive is plug & play ready. It is easy to carry and easy to use. If you need that little bit of extra space, it is worth considering this drive.

It’s not the best storage drive I just needed for work. Wish it was solid state when I got it.

@ TB of storage for under $75 is great, the drive works well so far. A bit slow but that is true of all USB external dives. The Western digital backup software is not very friendly. Used the older version for years and it was great, easy to change plans and verify data etc. New version is not compatible with older drive and will not see my old 500 GB. The old software will not see the newer drives. SO I use bth, one for each drive

It works fine the download speed is a ok, I only bought this to save some old pictures.

I really needed some extra storage and so I bought this 2TB. Works great for my PS4. Transfered my big games to it and works fine. Got it on sale so just wait for the right time to buy and you won't be dissapointed.

Works good as a backup drive. Backs up the drive automatically. No issues so far.

It has been going strong for a while now. Very good storage for the price and a dependable brand.

I use the drive to expand my DVR. It is smaller, faster, cheaper and 4 times the capacity of the old drive. Files transfer at twice the speed of the old drive. The old drive was still USB 3.0 but probably three or four years old.
