Be very careful because these hard drives can break easy slow down malfunction and other things but still great for backup

Better than the more expensive HP mouse which was defective (had to bring it back to exchange for this GE) and I got a $7 refund.

I'm using this as my "time machine" back up drive for my MacBook Pro. I have several of these devices. They have never failed me. Work great and dependable. Mine was on sale...didn't even know that when I went to buy it...so that was a nice bonus.

My main use for this hard drive is to save footage from a show I record and that takes up a lot of space. I was able to fit 4 seasons on 1 TB. That was a lot of material and I still have more space.

I like how compact this hard drive is. Its portable and fits right in my bag.

I have a lot of files of embroidery designs I have done. I attached the drive to my computer and it immediately started backing up my designs. Thank you to the gentleman in the Computer area for the advice to buy the drive.

It's amazing how small these backup hard drive's are now these days. What's also great is that they don't need an external power source, drawing all power from the USB-C connection. Western Digital makes a nice product.

As I’ve seen with all the WD drives I’ve bought, this one is doing great a year later after moderate use. Such great products, and reliable. I still backup data to the cloud as well, but love to have local physical backups like this.

For the price ($60) it definitely worked for me being that I needed an extra external and decided on a 2tb hard drive. Great hard drive with a ton of storage means that I transferred an entire 1tb and still have plenty of storage for the future.

Easy plug and play external drive that works with USB 3.0 for decently fast speeds. Been using it for months to store Steam games I'm not currently playing in order to free up space on my desktop.

Works nicely with my ps4 formatting was a no brainer and no issues doing so.

Having an external HD is a must in what I do. WD as a brand has always done a great job. This one we actually used as the external storage for the XBOX One - and it has worked great!

I bought this as an external hard drive for my son’s PS4. It was easy to hook up for extra storage. It does take longer to transfer the games and files versus an internal hard drive but this is more cost effective.

If you’re looking for a great external hard drive you’ve found it. It’s a great price and you’re getting what you pay for. My boyfriend absolutely loves it and hasn’t had any problems with it. I highly recommend!

While the WD included software is fine, there was no problem immediately saving multiple GB to the drive direct from Windows! I could back up every device in the house twice with the available space on this thing, fantastic!
