Western digital is the best on the market. Would not use anything else.

This drive come format with GPT partition so for those media player can not read that kind of partition ;you need to delete the partition and convert back into MBR partition and reformat. After that constant transfer speed at 95-100MB/sec.

Purchased the device on sale. Easy to use and very practical for saving files and pictures on laptop. It recognized the laptop easily and it's great for portability and transfer from one device to another.

Great and needed for external storage. Fast with plenty of room for my needs. Great way to save and back up things for safekeeping. SS drives are slowly dropping in price but unless you are bouncing these they offer much more "bang for the buck".

Wish I knew how to set up automatic backup. I just save documents one at a time. It has worked well for me.

I needed another hard drive for my studio. I store very large files that I need access to regularly. This drive worked perfectly out of the box and has been reliable ever since. I would buy this hard drive again if needed.

Needed a backup drive to store family photos. Having a backup copy of all digital photos on one drive which is portable is reassuring. Plenty of storage to handle all photos on various electronic devices.

I'm using this with my PS4 and Works perfectly,s hard drive worked and has been working without any issues for about a year now. I especially love it because it takes up very little space and does not require a power source.

I bought this for an AirTV DVR since it is one of the hard drives supported and tested by AirTV. I had an older WD hard drive but it was not on the supported list and caused the AirTV to overheat and reboot.

Got this as a gift for my sister who had no back up device and who knows very little about computers. She really likes it an it taught her how to back up her system. She found it very easy to use.

This hard drive is great for backing up files to. It isnt 7200 rpm but should be fine for most things.
