i've purchased a few 1TB Seagates that have broken down. so i'm trying this WD. so far no problems. but i'm concerned. i'm starting to buy external SSD's. Supposedly safer.

As of now good going. Instead of USB new kind of comparable to C port would have been better

Excellent transfer speed, plenty of storage capacity and backed by a good warranty provided by Western Digital. I own several Western Digital hard drives and they are quality memory devices.

I had originally purchased this product to use on my PlayStation 4 as an expanded hard drive. I soon came to find out that my drive was frequently been corrupted because it was not totally compatible. I ended up having to use it for my PC instead. If you buy this can you plan on using it for computer storage it will work just fine, but definitely not good for gaming storage.

the hard drive worked perfect it was quick and easy to set up.

This external drive is extremely easy to use for Windows! I backed up 10 years worth of data, mostly images and videos! I thought I would loose it forever but now it’s secure and safe.

I have several of these external hard drives and have not had one fail yet. I have one basically attached to my computer at all times. There is plenty of room for what I want to use them for and yet keep things separated..

I had two computers that had bit the dust, both containing college papers; this meant the world to me. Most importantly; both computers had pictures of my grand children on them. Thank you Geek Squad!!!

I bought this Hard Drive to expand the memory on my PS4 because i was continuously ran out of space for downloaded games. This 2TB Hard Drive was super easy to install and easy to format.

I should have bought wireless one which is more appropriate to use.

Got this on sale. If you need a quiet portable drive this one works well enough.

I bought this on Black Friday for cousin for his ps4. I have 2 of the 5tb version. So what does that tell you. I bought mine all on sale. It’s expensive when it’s not on sale

We've had an old iPad 2 that was starting to act up, so this new version was a great compromise -- getting a new, more reliable machine, and not spending a fortune either. My wife is quite pleased with her Christmas gift.

Product is good but it should have instruction book for setting . For setting we took help from YouTube .

I am very pleased with this hard drive. I would recommend it.

With a little bit of assistance the external hard drive runs smoothly! My tech skills are very limited, those with even modest tech skills will have no problem setting the hard drive up and getting it working!
