It was a little bit harder to use because the computer is really old, but we figured it out and it worked.

Bought this item to send large photo files and documents to relatives who need my information for genealogy work. I have several of these at different capacities and am pleased with all of them.

Does its job without hassle, great price and quick service

I used this to add storage to my PS4, and it worked perfect. It was literally almost plug and play, and took no time at all to setup. Overall very pleased, and would recommend.

Perfect HD for my needs. Reformatted for Mac as I did not need the included backup software. Mounts quickly on the desktop and makes copying easy. Great for use as a TomeMachine backup.

I have had a number of WD external drives over the years, but this is the first Easystore that I have used. It works fine, but I have not been able to set up password protection because the utility used to do that keeps returning the error message “attach a supported drive to begin” even when the drive is plugged into a USB port on my computer. First time that has happened.

Wouldn't consider owning a Mac pro without this accessory

I had this 2TB drive attached via USB port to my Xbox1 since Jan'18, Have loaded several games on it. It's running fine without a glitch. Good purchase.

This drive works well for backing up data from a laptop.

Good pricing started malfunctioning(a little) after about 8-9 months of use though.

Was glad to see a well-reviewed external HD with a decent amount of storage at a price comparable with not-so-reliable drives elsewhere. The only caveat is that the plug-and-play claim for Macs is not exactly accurate, and the instructions are unclear. A quick google search found the easy solution, but just a heads-up. Once it was up and running, no problem.

Between Western Digital and Seagate, I don't find much difference in terms of quality. This hard drive happened to be on sale and it a nice compact size that works for the projects I use it for. Highly recommended.

The product came and got it hook up but doesn't work with our new laptop with the printer.

I needed a backup when my old PC tower decided to give up the ghost. Microsoft said that if I provided an external hard drive, they could retrieve the contents of my dead PC. Worked like a charm!
