I have to have these from time to time to back up files when out in the field doing shoots and videos. When traveling and can't be home having these handy to quickly back up is a must.

handy easy to use ... a good value and well worth having

Western Digital always makes a good product at a decent price. This drive is no exception and I am using it to store all my music currently. I did load the software that comes with the unit, but I am not going to use any of that functionality personally. To me this would especially good coupled with a computer with an SSD drive.

Ok not bad it’s not fast.it’s working fine and reliable

I bought this drive to automatically back up my (selected) folders. It was easy to install and get working. It does it's thing without me having to do anything.

This was a recent purchase and so far things seem fine. It was a little tricky to set up.

I purchased the WD Easystore portable hard drive as a back up for my laptop. Although it was confusing getting it started for back-up I figured it out and backed up my pictures, videos and documents. Boy am I glad I did. Less than a week later my laptop crashed and I had all of my information stored on the WD Easystore. Relief!

I bought this for my son's PS4 and so far I've had no issues it works great it has plenty of memory so now my son has the room to download his games it was easy to set up Plug and Play

Was getting worried about my old computers 1.5tb secondary drive, with all my media, running out of space. This did the trick, including backing up my pictures and videos from Google Drive.

I bought this in a deal on black friday. Very good product. You must install WD drivers to get USB 3 speed on Windows machine.

I purchased two of these during a recent Best Buy special to back up my office computers. These are very reliable and back ups are easy using the supplied software. Absolutely recommended.

The external drive is nice, compact and nos heavy. I has to reformat to work with mu macbook 2018. It is possible and easy. It works nice and I will buy it again.

Good storage device for the price, works on PC and Mac

My son uses it for his X-Box Gaming System. He states it has helped him to be able to play his games / store / retrieve more efficiently without the lagging.

This was a quick and easy way to expand the storage capacity of my Xbox console. Just plug into one of the USB ports on the Xbox and boom! You have an extra 2 terabytes to store your downloaded games.

This drive does as advertised. Easy to set up and reliable.

I bought this to use as a PS4 external drive. I've used numerous WD externals as backups for my computers with no issue whatsoever so I felt confident in putting it to use with the PS4. Thus far it has worked well but in times when the power is unexpectedly turned off (such as power outages in thunderstorms) I get a "device error" that has to be fixed when the PS4 is turned back on. So far it hasn't damaged any data, but it weighs on my mind since I don't yet have a lot stored on there. Overall, it's a solid drive that hasn't failed yet, but that error message gives me a little worry (have gotten it twice in the past two months when the power was knocked out, one of those times unexpectedly with no major storm present). Never had that happen when my computer was shut off while one was connected in a power outage, so it's something with the way it interfaces with the PS4. Might be a concern, or might just be a very minor thing that doesn't affect data at all.
