I always buy and trust Western Digital portable, external, hard drives. I use the drive to back up files and to put the files on other computers. This is especially helpful when the files are too large to email or you have too many files to transfer.

By downloading my photos and important papers on to this HD my mind is put at ease. Fire, Tornado or whatever comes our way.. our stuff goes on this weekly and popped into a safe. I am not losing MY pictures. This is my 3rd one and I love it!

This is a very easy system to use. Just simply drag and drop. I had to buy two because I am not that savvy in separating work from personal and I got a new home laptop and a new work laptop this year.

seems to work great. to my knowledge. It initially did a complete back up of the data. on a daily basis it backs the incremental changes that I have made to my data. I also want to backup my e-mails so I try to run the program when my outlook file is closed and in general any and all documents are closed by me. I have NOT had to do a restore, but I assume it will work. I bought this larger drive because I got 2x the storage for just slightly more money.
