||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My purchase of this external hard drive was relatively painless; the most painful thing being paying for the item, but that's expected. The most painful thing after having purchased this item was having a Western Digital employee help me to complete the initial setup/formulation for this equipment over the phone. I was not able to give this equipment a proper name while doing this, but this did not impede the setup thankfully. This process should be much less of a hardship (in my opinion).

Excellent Portable storage

We were not able to hook it up to apple tree save or what ever it is called to update always. My wife actually erased the software on the portable storage but it was easy to fix with the companies service center that you can download onto the computer and control your portable hard drive. I thought that was an added bonus to have and easy to use.

Decided to keep it as a back up for my system after its resurrection. Its small size and large capacity sealed the deal for me. I can grab it and run in case of a disaster at home.
