I have never had problems with this type of portable hard drive. I use it on a laptop to run emporium on my at games legends pinball and runs great. I highly recommend this if you need the space to install a lot of files.

This is my second one (same exact one). They only last about 4-5 years, so I am learning to make sure I backup everything and then do it again in 4-5 years so I don't lose anything. Very easy to use!

This is all powered off the USB cable which is USB 3.0. Great drive which seems to function well. I have only used it a few days but will update my review if I encounter any issues.

Have several of these and never had any problems, unlike other major brands. Give it 10 seconds to power down before moving it to make sure you get maximum life out of this spinning disk.
