I always buy and trust Western Digital portable, external, hard drives. I use the drive to back up files and to put the files on other computers. This is especially helpful when the files are too large to email or you have too many files to transfer.

This is the third WD external hard drive that I've purchased over the last 1 1/2 years. They have all performed exceptionally well, and without any issues or problems. Simple "plug and play" operation, excellent solution for expanding your storage requirements for gaming consoles, laptops or PCs.

I already have another WD that is used solely to backup my MacBook Pro. I bought this one to store various video projects. No problems from setup to use. If you are using this for a Mac, be sure to properly format before using, otherwise it will default for PC and you might have issues.

A little difficult to work with. There’s definitely a learning curve and storing and retrieving your data. I’m learning.

This external hard drive worked really well for my needs, and 2TB is more than enough storage. I can easily transfer my ps4 games to the drive and even install new ones to it. Although the format needed to be used for it to work on ps4 took a little bit of storage space off, its still more than enough space!

I have tons of videos and pictures. So I was able to download everything with plenty of room left. Good product!!!!

I bought this to add more storage to my laptop for gaming. As hard drive it isn't as fast as an SD but it is just a fraction of the price. I haven't noticed it to be overly slow as one might with other hard drives. This hard drive also is very simplistic and sleek making it very functional and good looking.

Well packaged. Very small and light-weight. Easy to use and fast (even when using the USB2). I'd recommend it.
