My purchase of this external hard drive was relatively painless; the most painful thing being paying for the item, but that's expected. The most painful thing after having purchased this item was having a Western Digital employee help me to complete the initial setup/formulation for this equipment over the phone. I was not able to give this equipment a proper name while doing this, but this did not impede the setup thankfully. This process should be much less of a hardship (in my opinion).

I gave my nephew this device for Easter. He knew there was something he could do with his PS4 for more memory but didn't know what. I did some research and went to buy the 1 TB I saw online. Our newspaper no longer provides Best buy ads. When I got to the store and saw the ad a 2 TB was only a few dollars more. I anticipated having to help the nephew install it and get it going, but it was so easy he did it himself. An employee suggested I should get the PS version, but it was more expensive. Another employee verified this model works with PS4. I appreciate all the reviews that also said that, I felt pretty confident about my purchase and my nephew can now waste even more time on way more games than before.

This is a wonderful light weight compact portable 2TB external hard drive. It's also a true plug & play device with USB 3.0 as well as USB 2.0 connectivity. This product is ideal for home, office and school.

Got this drive as an interim storage device for my computer while it was being recovered and restored by Best Buys Geek Squad. Decided to keep it as a back up for my system after its resurrection. Its small size and large capacity sealed the deal for me. I can grab it and run in case of a disaster at home.
