My Xbox One 500 GB storage was approaching 90%. I needed a way to expand my storage in a cost effective way. This unit was only $20 more than the 1TB version so I chose this one. I just plugged it into a USB 3 port and instantly jumped my storage up to 2 TB.

did not take long to install, easy to use. must have for a DJ to bring out more music for any kind of party, (better than carrying crates of vinyl,) I bought 2 since they we're on sale. employee on the phone was great to work, she said was highly recommended for my needs.

As far as backing up and being small and holding a lot of information these drives are great. Not the plug and play it is advertised being, however. I had to resort to tech support both times. This is my second WD Hard drive. I suggest not installing the software and using your windows backup options in the settings option if you have windows.

This drive is reliable, portable and easily formatted for Mac. I use it to store video footage and even editing 4k footage off of it has worked well! I have bought 4 in the last two months! Great storage for the price.

This was easy to set up for the extra storage I needed and holds a lot of large files, like videos and pictures.

WD or western digital hard drives are often rated as the best built and last the longest. the size and price are great works with all pc laptops and desktops running windows and sometime apple laptops.

Plugged it into my ps5 to offload some games and footage and it worked perfectly even with the upgrade ssd it’s nice to have room for my stream.

Bought this for my wife so she can back up her work for grad school. I use a similar 4TB one that I’ve had for about 2 years as an external drive for my ps5. It’s connected every day and have never had a problem.

My 1.5 yr old laptop died unexpectedly and Geek Squad recommended this for housing all my data between devices. Works great, easy access to data, and convenient small size for portability. Also reasonably priced - highly recommended!

Will see if this one works. Last one died lossing all when previos laptop crash. I will try this new one now that it is on the new laptop. Difficult for me to understand the process attaching, drop dragging and checking to make sure the data had been truly saved.

PLENTY OF STORAGE AND VERY CONVENIENT FOR EASE OF USE.

I was looking for a backup drive that didn't take a lot of space and this one was it. The drive is small and with the USB 3 capability it is extremely fast. I can now backup my computer and store the backup at a different location, protecting my docs and photos.

These things are great. I always find myself needing more because I am a hoarder both physically and digitally. My only complaint is that I've gotten larger external drives for less money. Inflation is killing the price of data storage.
