Love it works for all my items I want to save and easy to use

I purchased this for my boyfriend's PS4 for extra storage, based on other reviewers who said it worked. Glad I did. All you do is plug it in and you're good to go. The Playstation asks you to finalize the storage choice and that's it. I plan on purchasing an additional unit for my son's Xbox One. No more uninstalling games!

I bought the 2tb one, it’s compact and looks cool but more importantly it’s data transfer speed is really fast

As a fellowship director, I control the media output. I decided that the best thing to do was to digitize all the gospel sermons and that an external harddrive was the best way to go. I purchased this one at Best Buy and it is more than enough storage space than what it was purchased for. I highly recommend this product.

Will see if this one works. Last one died lossing all when previos laptop crash. I will try this new one now that it is on the new laptop. Difficult for me to understand the process attaching, drop dragging and checking to make sure the data had been truly saved.

Good value; “geek” indicated it could be configured for Mac...and it was easy and quick to reformat.

One of the best portable hard drives I've ever used. I use it mostly as storage for media, and it works like a charm. On top of that, it's extremely fast.

We are very happy with the purchase from Best Buy of the WD 2TB External Portable Hard Drive. It has made backing up our computers extremely easy and we don't worry about backing up data more than once with the huge storage capacity.

Perfect size to fit in a purse or a camera bag. It was a little difficult at first because I didn't realize that you needed to change its format to be able to make it work with a mac. It was easy to figure it by watching some youtube videos.

Was easily able to reformat it for my Mac by googling and getting to the easy store website. I had a lot of data and it transferred within 30 mins for backup. I got the 2TB since it was on sale, so I still have lots of space available. Definitely recommend!

I needed an additional external HD to load programs for Xbox One X. The person at the store was able to direct me to some options balanced with price. The installation was very straightforward and completed very shortly. It's up and running just like I need!

So far, so good. Have been using the WD USB 3.0 Drive for about 3 weeks now. Everything seems to be in order. Reformat first with disk utility on Mac first. Then select Time Machine from systems preferences folder. Name it as you want and proceed to back-up your system. The first time takes longer. After that, very quick.

This is pretty compact in size and big on storage.

I needed a simple and inexpensive way to back up my data. This external hard drive fits the bill. I'm pleased with its ease of use. For a USB connection, the backup occurs relatively quickly. The only drawback is that the USB cord is very short (18 inches).

Was looking for more mobile storage for ALL my pictures and this was the answer! This particular item was on sale at a great price... deal done! Has worked flawlessly and am very happy.

this thing is awesome. such a great price. a million years a go i bought one that was half the memory, a quarter of the speed, and 4 times the size, for about double what i paid for this one. very much worth it and easy to setup. happy customer.
