This is the 5th one of these we have purchased for the office over the past few years, WD is superior to Seagate in our experience. We have never had a single issue with one of the Easystore drives. This was on sale and a great deal. Highly recommended.

I was able to get this external hard drive as a Black Friday deal for about 50% off, which was an unreal price. The amount of storage is amazing. I had a little trouble getting started, but my laptop is rather old, still operating on Windows 8, and full to the brim with photos (I’m a photographer). It did take a LONG time to transfer everything to the hard drive. I think it took 7-8 hours. But it worked great, was easy to use overall, and I think will be even simpler each time in smaller, frequent quantities. Very happy with this purchase! And picking it up from my local Best Buy was easy and painless.

I use this as the external drive for my PS4. I needed a drive that was big and cheap and this fit the bill. It is used every day and it's still working perfectly! It's small too

Easy to use right out of the box. I have another hard drive that got formatted to windows (Mac user) and I was unable to write to it anymore. I picked this hard drive up and it was perfect. I was able to move my data over quickly and efficiently.

I bought this drive for medical school and it worked really well for the first year. Unfortunately, when there seemed to be a problem with the port and I submitted it for warranty through Western Digital, they refused the claim saying there was "physical damage" to the drive and I had to pay them again just to ship my drive back to me. I am very disappointed because I paid the bigger price for extra storage thinking it would last and I relied heavily on this drive for school. If you don't run into a port problem then this is a great drive.

Nice 2TB drive. Not SSD, but still fast enough. Western Digital is a name I trust.

Wonderful product! Being cheaper because of not being solid state, but still I have three of these and love ‘em! Size of a wallet almost! Be careful not to format them though unless you get a replacement driver
