Good Drive so far!

Actually slimmer than the other WD drives of the same capacity that I have. Came with a download of some WD backup program that you connects to the internet to download and install..when connected it would not download the program.

Then disconnect and into the fire safe. Not hooked up so even if I get hacked (fingers crossed), I've got all my data. And by backing up computer like this, I have it covered as best I can in case of fire.

She also was worried that if her computer crashed she would be unable to restore some of her photography work. A lot of storage for a small price.

It’s a plug and play, easy to set up addition to your system. Just format it and you are good to go. It’s a tad slower, but has a ton of memory so you don’t have to uninstall games to make room for a new one. I recommend this as a budget option. I’m not worried about not having password protect like the other model because it’s strictly for me gaming system. If you want more speed, go with an ssd drive. If you want gaming on a budget, buy this and spend the cash you saved on 4 games.

Never had a drive fail, but Best Buy's replacement plan is a must for hard drives. Would highly recommend. Keep an eye on price – sales are amazing but last only a very short period of time.

They work great. The transfer speeds are amazing and they have yet to ever fail on me. It’s great to see how many storage options they have. The 2TB works the best for me. Best Buy usually have them on sale
