I connect it every 2 weeks and update all my files, photos and data. Then disconnect and into the fire safe. Not hooked up so even if I get hacked (fingers crossed), I've got all my data. And by backing up computer like this, I have it covered as best I can in case of fire.

So far so good. Its a slim external hard drive. Actually slimmer than the other WD drives of the same capacity that I have. Came with a download of some WD backup program that you connects to the internet to download and install..when connected it would not download the program.

The hard drive is very reasonably priced for the amount of memory provided. It is light and very portable. It is also easy to use and set up. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Nice little plan “B” back up for my old laptop. I bought this external drive to transfer things from as far back as 2013. I feel confident that I have secured all of those things that are special to me, photos and music .

This is a good hard drivewokrs fast and easy very good product

It is a reliable little drive that we use as back-ups on shoots. So at least 2 people have all the footage on 2 different drives.

Grandaughter needed this to backup her computer since it often dropped connection and she would have to redo work that was in process. She also was worried that if her computer crashed she would be unable to restore some of her photography work. A lot of storage for a small price.

Easy to use. Stores stuff. No set-up needed, just plug it in and you're good.

I have been using WD drives for my back ups for a long time. They work great. The transfer speeds are amazing and they have yet to ever fail on me. It’s great to see how many storage options they have. The 2TB works the best for me. Best Buy usually have them on sale

Works very well. Easy to install software and add a password. I use it for photography and not files have been corrupted.

I absolutely LOVE Easystore hard drives – all sizes and types (portable vs "sit on desk" version). Never had a drive fail, but Best Buy's replacement plan is a must for hard drives. Would highly recommend. Keep an eye on price – sales are amazing but last only a very short period of time.
