Great for gaming

It is has USB 3.0 so the speeds are ok. There is no need for an external power source so it is basically just plug and play. Small enough to be out of the way and it is not loud.

It also proved to be plug and play, enabling me to use it on MAC and Windows PC. From the time it was removed from packaging to usability was literally minutes. Very happy with this purchase.

We have one for us, only older. This portable hard drive can hold enough data for most of your needs. And, with this one. It's quick and easy to disconnect, put in your pocket and roll on out.

For the price it pretty much evens out if it went down maybe 5$ (Maybe like 55-60$) it would be the perfect gift for your kid. Consider buying.

It works exactly as intended

No external power supply needed. I don't know if you would have to format it to work on a Mac, but it worked right out of the box for my Windows machine.

WD makes a very good drive, i must have 10 or 12 portable drives filled and labeled. I can take the data with me and don't have to rely on the cloud to retrieve it.

Great for xbox one

I bought it because I was running out of space on my xbox one. I've downloaded over 50 games on it and still have almost 1 tb left on it. its a good hard drive

Great 2T Backup Storage Drive
