Works well for backup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to use as a backup clone for a recently purchased, older Mac Mini. The EasyStore drive comes formatted NTFS for Windows, but it can be easily formatted in OS X El Capitan using the Disk Utility. I was then able to use Carbon Copy Cloner to backup the Mac Mini. I have another drive that I use for Time Machine backup, so I did not need the drive for that. I also use the EasyStore drive for single on demand file backups like Quicken data file backups. After cloning the Mac, I tested the clone by doing a boot from the clone. It worked flawlessly. This drive is a great value for the money and I highly recommend.
