This was suggested to get as support for my new laptop. Best Buy helped set it up and it's easy to backup your system. Glad I got it. You can set it up for automatic so you don't have to remember to do the backup.

First of all let me say I only gave this 4 stars because the price point was a bit higher than I would have hoped for 2tb of storage considering a the right time I could get a 4tb for the same or cheaper. That’s more on me, but our computer has been acting a little finicky lately so I wanted to make sure everything (especially my wife’s stuff) was backed up or else she may hurt me. Either way, the ease of use of this thing couldn’t be better. It is like putting a thumb drive in and just storing to it. Great product and love how small it is. I leave it tucked in a small storage bin next to our computer and no one knows it’s there. For ease of use and what it does I’d give it more stars, but I only dropped it a star because of what I personally HAD to pay in orde to save my own life.

I got this at a great price. It has a lot of space for me to consolidate all of my photos in one safe place in the event something happens to the other media devices that contain them.

good item, good price, easy to use, small and compact

I've been using this as an external drive for my PS4 and it works well. The speed is pretty good and it's been reliable so far. Got it at a very good price for My Best Buy members.

Purchased this item to add more room to downloaded games to my Xbox One. easy to use and have not a had a problem with this hard drive with use over the past three years.

I needed a large portable external HD for backup and storage. This WD HD was priced right. It also proved to be plug and play, enabling me to use it on MAC and Windows PC. From the time it was removed from packaging to usability was literally minutes. Very happy with this purchase.

Needed to save photos & videos from a PC Hard Drive to free space and cleanup the system. This device was a great long-term solution without having to purchase monthly subscription cloud storage space.

Convenient handy sturdy and mobile easy to use and plenty storage

Very good for me. Read/Write time is sufficient for most users in my opinion. Is that extra 5 milliseconds less of speed going to wreck your day! Great value for the price.

This is a great external hard drive from the point-of-view of a non-tech person. Easy to set up and backed up all the info I needed in a couple of minutes. Can't beat the Best Buy price either!

This 2TB is Nice! Especially for lots of Media coverage. This product was referred by a colleague and they were right!

Was able to backup items from a Vista Laptop and W7. Transferred 43,000 pics at one time. At first it was having issues being seen and then it worked the next time. Not sure what might have changed.

Very smooth processing and the size is perfect for on the go. We were able to tranfer all of our data with out any glitches!

Awesome hard drive. Works as expected. Have always used Western Digital hard drives and decided to get this to back up pictures from my phone. My only regret is not getting 2 at the awesome sales price I purchased the 1 on!

Very easy to set up and use and very good access speed.

This is the best. I bought a new laptop and had to move files from my old machine to the new one. The Easystore 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive made it easy and I will have other uses for it in the future.
