This 2 terabyte hard drive was priced the same as a one terabyte. I got it for a very good price and it suits my needs perfectly. I prefer using external harddrives for evidence in a case so that I can place the evidence on its own drive and take itto court. Courts have really bad wifi.

My 1TB external drive wasn't going to have enough spare space for work I was doing, so I looked for a 2TB one and the price was right on this. I didn't realize how TINY it is! It worked exactly right from the start and takes up so much less space on my desk. Just about the size of the palm of my hand!

This is second external hard drive. So obviously we liked the quality of the first one. Easy to use and does a great job with plenty of memory.

Easy plug and play set up. It's compact and 2TB memory capacity is a lot to back up my entire computer. Price is awesome, too! I can't complain.

I was recently gifted a new playstation 4 and after reading about the enormous install size of some of the games, I decided to purchase this. I got it for 59.99 on a sale. Pros It was priced very well 2TB hard drive space(1.84TB usable) Plug and play Cons It has a little blinking light that likes to go crazy at night(probably while the ps4 is updating ). If you happen to sleep in the same room with your console/external hdd, it could possibly bother you. Of course, there are easy fixes for that. Note- I have a 2tb external hdd for my xbox one and it is a my passport x. The difference between the two? The passport x has stripes. So....Yeah. Honestly though, I think the my passport x is supposed to look like a mini xbox one.

Easy to set up and good value. Small enough to remain unobtrusively on your desk.

Hard Drive storage capacity valuable and practical...assure handling and security of files for our daily work...back up is extremely important in today working environment to protect sensitive information...and fast response if there a breach in our main storage within the laptop computer...

The WD Easystore 2TB portable hard drive work perfectly without a glitch. Was able to back up tons of pictures and files with in a few seconds. I would recommend this hard drive to everyone.

I did not have to configure the hard drive. It’s instantly started working with my computer. I love how physically slim and small it is. Great value for the price!

Bought for my younger BIL to store clips to and edit. As referenced in the title, if you're not computer savvy, these drives get optimized for one device. Game console or computer. He intended to use this since his laptop has no space. This allows him to edit and store videos. If you optimize it just for video games, you can't also then use it for computer stuff. BUT all in all, it's worked great for him and he's happier than with any of his other external hard drives.

Ready to run out the box. I've had it running as an external drive constantly since I bought it. It only turns off when I power down or move it to a different computer occasionally. I'd say it's only been off for a total of a week since I've had it.

I bought this for my PS4 and it stores all the games i have. I did upgrade to a PS5 and, besides some initial issues with set up, it was pretty much just plugging it in and you could play all your PS4 games without having to re-download. However, dont put this on top of your console and you might have to keep it at a distance. I think its something that all external storage devices cause, not just this one, but this can potentially hinder your consols wifi connection. If i had it right on top of my PS4 or too close, the wifi would disconnect constantly. Not having the same issue on the PS5 though. Hopefully you can get this when its on sale for $60 US, otherwise you'd be spending too much on the base price. Like SD cards, these are constantly going on sale, and the price of storage goes down over the years.

Needed additional storage and this was perfect. The sale price was a factor and allowed we to get more storage for less money. Small and easy to use.
