Was able to move over 5000 pics from my phone and pc to this device with no problem. I still have quite a bit of space left to move more.

Definitely a must have if you’re a gamer originally purchased for additional space on a PS4 then transferred the data to the PS5 and it still works flawlessly.

Absolutely love this hard drive I can store all my back up in one place

I initially bought it to store my laptop's back-ups and updates, but I wasn't able to. I decided to just move all of the old documents and pictures from my old dell onto it which was a great choice since I need them all to look back on without cluttering my new laptop. For the price and amount of storage, it was worth the $50 I spent.

WD external hard drives have always been my go-to for backing up my home and work computers. Haven’t had one fail in 20 years. And on sale it’s a better deal.

Works very easily as an external drive. Backed up the entire computer on it and have access to all the data. It works very well for this application so that I can use the data on any computer.

I use these drives for a customer's backup system. 3 drives rotated each day. These are the only drives we have been able to find to reliably backup their system before start of work the next morning.

This is a compact 2 TB drive that works well. There are two provisos. The first I was aware of and it does not detract: it is formatted in NTFS and has to be reforrmatted in Disk Utility for the Mac. The one drawback that I see (4* instead of 5*) is that it has what I would call a proprietary on board socket for its USB cable. So, don't lose it. A standard mini or micro USB or even a USB-3 cable will not work.

This has been GREAT. Bought it on sale, specifically to expand the hard drive of my PS4. Literally, plugged it in, was prompted to format as PS4 external storage, it was done in about 20 seconds.

Bought this to backup a Mac Mini using Time Machine. I did reformat it to work with the Mac, but that went very smoothly and it has performed flawlessly. Can't beat the price and ease of use.

Great price for a small, high capacity (2TB) drive with a USB 3.0 interface. I use it for storing backups of my laptop drives, which it does well - and in a small form factor I can easily transport.
