Purchased as a gift for my sister after she mentioned she could use an external. She was happy with the amount of storage and I was happy with the price point.

Over the years I have bought quite a few portable external hard drives by Western Digital. They have all been great, including this one. The 2 TB space is plenty for me to store videos, music, document files, etc. Nowadays, I don't save a lot of stuff on my laptop. Everything gets saved and stored on this hard drive. It's easy to use. Just plug the USB cable into your laptop or computer's USB slot and it should be recognized immediately. It works with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, but you might as well use the USB 3.0 because the transfer speed is so much faster.

I bought this on offer for less than the original price. It's more responsive and I'm using it to take back-up of my mac. easy connectivity and it provides 15G online storage capacity.

Got this on sale. Yes it works with the ps4. When you first connect it to the ps4 it states it's not compatible. Don't worry!! All you have to do is follow on the on screen prompts and your done. Literally took a minute to format. It's a great way to expand your storage and it's small and convenient. Also, when you power off your ps4 it will power off as well unless you have it in rest mode. Don't disconnect it while the ps4 is on unless u power the hard drive off first. It will cause an error. Overall very happy with this purchase.

It is nice to have a portable hard drive that you can save everything in one place and you do not have to overload your laptop with many files or etc...

It was an excellent product for me…it works perfectly fine.

I've purchased these for several clients to set up daily incremental and full backups of their data. I like the drive because it's small I can use double-sided tape and stick it to the side of their computer. It also will run without external power directly from a single USB port, so there's no hunting around for an extra place to plug it in on their power strip. It is also very handy for expanding storage on laptops with small hard drives. It's small and light and you can just throw it in your laptop bag. Highly recommended.

Easy to use on any computer. It starts up as soon and you plug in the usb - always recognized. Great value.

I was running out of space on my laptop so needed a hard drive for backup of tons of pictures and documents, etc. This drive did the trick...easy to use and has ample storage.

I think this is a very nice external hard drive.....I have it backing up both my pc and a mac....I hope it provides alot of years of trouble free service...time will certainly tell!

True plug and play. Appreciate that it does not want me to jump through hoops just to get it going. It did the job I needed it to do. WD is a name I trust and the price (on sale) was a deal.

Easy to install petty much self explainable nice product

Excellent, a True Work Horse, for Repetitive, even multi-week non-stop use. This Pro-level Drive absolutely Indispensible (WD is my Brand of choice, for Hard Drives. A few years ago, (believing SDDs would be better), I'd bought a Sans Disk 500 Gb USB Drive. It crashed on me, within months. I've had to re-formormat it twice, already. Upon further Research, I've learned a n Interesting Fact: "When Hard Drives begin going bad, they still give you time to either rebuild it, and/or move the Data from it, to another. (at least, that's what I've been able to do). Conversely, according to the source I found on the Net, (a Forum), I learned that SDDs do not give give you such a warning. Such is what happened to the Sans Disk. CONCLUSION: NO SDDs for me. I'm Happy with my five (5) "Western Digital" (WD) Hard Drives I've had, over the years. I buy no other brand.

Works as described, easy plug and play. Price was good even with it being on sale. Used to move software and games from old computer to new.
