    It worked fine moving all data from a Windows PC to a new Mac mini. Easy to use. Western Digital was always the best, and apparently still is. Shipping was really fast, too.

    Comes with an installer for the software, however it’s not needed, works pretty easy just plug it in and drag and drop, I used this to move files over from an old to new laptop.

    2nd one I've owned...never had a problem. One stores computer back ups, the other stores music digitalized from cd and vinyl. Have also owned WD Element without issue.
