I use this drive to backup my IT learning materials (which is why I didn't get the encryption option for $5 more at time of purchase). This drive is reliable and works quite well.

My son needed a hard drive for school and to back up his files on his computer. This was on sale and it was just the right size. We love that we don't need to have it plugged into the outlet in order for it work. Is small go he can take it to school without adding extra bulk to his backpack. It's also a 3.0 so he gets to access his movies and pictures at a faster rate. This is also a click and drop so all you have to do is drop files to it and it saves it automatically.

This is very standard stuff but that is the whole point. I love this simple and easy item.

I purchased this hard drive for a backup so I could backup my computer. That way if my computer crashed I would have a copy of all my files and settings. This one works great.

Got this for the PS5 and once you format it it works great. You can transfer about 80GBs in about 20 minutes which is close to the listed max speed of 5GB a minute.

Bought this for my son to use for college so that he would have an extra place to store his homework off of the computer. Works great. Just plug it and you are ready to go.

I have 4 WD External USB drive and some are a few years old. I use them to back up my PC and I had movies on one so when the internet is out I can watch something from it.
