Needed this to copy hard drive. Works great. Geek Squad transferred all the data to the drive for me and I am able to access all my information with the click of my mouse.

Got this as a gift for my parents. They wanted to store photos safely and this allowed them to do just that. Love it.

Excellent little drive! Light weight,slim,strong case and fast processing with games and transfers. I really should of gotten the 4 gig but this one will do for now!

Really easy to use and has simple instructions on how to operate it as soon you plug it into USB port. I use it to save all the camera videos and pics, backups on all computers and hd movies/ music which all work great.

I have not had any issues with this device. I purchased this so I can back up thousands of vids and photos I have saved from years of my kids growing. Now I have relief, I dont need a baggie anymore to hold the handful of micro sd cards with all my pics. A must have if your like me.

Purchased this Portable Hard Drive to save Dish programs and movies in my RV. Works like a charm. Highly recommend...a great value if you need portable storage.

I combined all my flash drives, backed up all my computers and still have a lot of room to spare. Unplug it when you are done and you always have a safe copy of your system.

The Best Buy salesperson said that it was compatible with Mac....that it was plug and play and didn't need to be reformatted. However, it did need to be reformatted to work properly with more than one Mac. I could've bought any hard drive if I had to reformat it anyway. The hard drive is small and portable and you don't need a separate power cord, which is really nice. It works well and is reasonably priced.

Solidly built, data transfers are smooth and as fast as you'll get with a 2.5" mechanical drive. Only downside is that the plug receptacle on the unit isn't a USB-C, but a USB-Micro with an additional side connector that I assume is for power; as such it doesn't come with a generic USB cable, and I'm not sure it can use one - a generic USB Micro cable will fit, but it might not deliver enough power to spin up the disk. As such you'll need to make sure to not lose the USB cable that comes with the unit.
