This drive is much more than I thought it would be. Plug in ready and much smaller (physically) than I thought it would be. I thought 2TB would be a wee bit smaller than I needed but it wasn't until I did the actual math that I realized I'll be using this for years to come. I loaded some 500 pictures onto the drive and they took up a very tiny slice of the whole drive. Pleasantly surprised to say the least. Glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone that wants one.

The Best Buy salesperson said that it was compatible with Mac....that it was plug and play and didn't need to be reformatted. However, it did need to be reformatted to work properly with more than one Mac. I could've bought any hard drive if I had to reformat it anyway. The hard drive is small and portable and you don't need a separate power cord, which is really nice. It works well and is reasonably priced.

Speed was great Easy to use No issues at all Looked at various other models, but this one was rated high and was on sale Couldn’t beat it for the price

This portable hard drive is awesome! Great price for tons of space for backing up photos, documents, and for freeing up precious laptop/computer space to make it run more efficiently. Simple plug and play use makes it a great product to quickly use out of the box. I used mine to backup my iMac/MacBook Pro and it was a breeze. Would definitely recommend.

This product is a lifesaver I did not know that these things even existed. I was able to save all my information from my previous laptop.

I use this drive for my file backups and for convenience in traveling so I don't have to remote in to my desktop to grab a file. It's convenient to use with plenty of capacity.

This is great for a backup. I can download photos on it and it still has room. Great buy.

Usefull disk and very easy to use When use for mac it is easy to use Mac instruction for an external disk than using the utility software that comes with the disk

Now I have the peace of mind of not worrying about running out of space on my computer, it has 2 TB, more than enough for screen recording on my PC for missed events

I have continued to use the WD external hard drives over other hard drives by other companies. I have been using especially the 2TB for movies on my tv.
