bought this for backing up vacation photos and videos, works great essentially "plug in and play" no need for software or anything. comes with cable also. great deal.

This is a great external hard drive for the money. It connected effortlessly and I copied all of my files from my smaller hard drive without any problems.

I recently purchased an Acer Switch Alpha 12 from Best Buy and then purchased this to supplement its 256GB RAM. It works great powered from the tablets USB A or C port. Transfer speeds are really fast. I also use it with my Macdook Pro via a powered USB 3 hub. Again, works great. I have had great experiences with WD drives in the past and expect the same from this one. I use this drive primarily for archiving files, but it also functions as a media source for movies, no problem.

Good storage unit for the price. Easy to operate Trusted name in the electronics industry.

No software installation. Fits in my pocket for transporting. 2T more that meets my needs.

it works just as expected to. I have never had a problem with any of their externals

I have tons of memory cards. Someone suggested putting it on a harddrive instead of always buying memory cards. Greatest idea and buy ever. Simple to use and small.

This portable hard drive works great with my laptop. It works fast and I have had no issues with it since my purchase.

It is light and compact enough for everything I was storing on a cloud service with room for much more. Plug and use without waiting. I plan to buy another one!

I brought it home and plugged it in and leave it plugged in. Very easy!

I've only had this HD for a month, so I still don't know how it will hold up. However, I already love its 2 TB capacity, small footprint, cost (on sale) and USB connector. My previous WD external hard drive held only 1 TB of data and it was the size of a brick. And it wasn't backing up my programs and data because its capacity was too small.

Nice amount of storage for a good price when it is on sale.

Got this on a sale and it was totally worth it. Its doesn't have the fastest transfer rate but for the price and the size; thats just a minor inconvenience.

Suggested by tech after we said we have too many thumb drives and WOW not even a third full and the desk is much less clutered. Thank you
