I bought this external hard drive to send a lot of images to a relative. Then, I realized that my relative uses a Mac and I use a PC. There was a cryptic message in very small print on the box of the Easystore that suggested that my relative might have to reformat the device to work on his Mac, but I sent the images anyway, keeping my fingers crossed. The hard drive worked perfectly on my PC and his Mac and did not have to be reformatted. The unit is inexpensive and performed great.

this was a awesome little hard drive. i thought with the price it might be cheaply made but it is still western digital so it is still great quality. its practically plug n play and my computer picked it up fast. it loads things fast and things write to it just as fast. its very lightweight as well which i love since it sits on top of my computer all the time. i keep mine plugged in as a extra drive and it works great for that. i loved this so much i bought another one bigger size locally.

Great product for external storage. Great price, just what I need to have portable storage for school projects and presentations.

I purchased this to use with myX Box One console, for use as an external hard drive. It works perfectly for that purpose and is a breeze to set up for that. Plenty of online tutorials out there that will guide you through the process, step by step. I also have another one connected to my home computer to store my photos and iPhone backup on. Purchased as a deal of the day. I’d buy two more if it ever goes back sale again.

This hard drive works really good on my PlayStation 4 I can carry so many games on it this is probably the best hard drive to buy

These were a great value for a backup device, easy to use, and they are still surprisingly snappy.

This small, lite weight and portable hard drive works great for me. I am able to travel with it, it fits in my computer bag and perfectly in my purse. Great price for a 2TB hard drive. The setup was easy

This is an overall pretty good hard drive. It's quite small. Kinda afraid I'll accidentally break it or something but I don't think that's likely to happen. 2TB is a lot for the price so it's a great deal! It also writes pretty quick as well so you don't have to wait for a really long time. Only downside I would say is that you have to download something onto your laptop before you can actually start using it. It was a little bit confusing but once you get through that, you can easily import or export anything onto here easily:)

Great compact storage device I have 2 of them one for just time machine backup..all sorts of storage capacity..very happy with purchase. Just make sure if your device needs to be formatted for your system before loading it up because if you do it after.. you loose all info you stored on it. I unfortunately didn't realize this but was able to transfer to another external then formatted it and then reloaded it up. This is especially true for Mac users since this device seems to be formatted for windows.

The WD Easystore 2TB portable hard drive work perfectly without a glitch. Was able to back up tons of pictures and files with in a few seconds. I would recommend this hard drive to everyone.

This works better than I expected. Since [affordable] PCs & Laptops seem to be coming with less and less on board storage, I bought this to see whether I could store & run games from this drive. It might not be *as* good as running them from an SSD, but it is certainly more than sufficient. And now, I can take this between my laptop and desktop and save storage space on my PC for the launchers and other programs I need for school. I'll take a barely noticeable dip in loading speed for this convenience.
