I was overdue for a new external and was reminded of this by an Untimely Incident involving a fault error. A handy sale let me pick this up while I had my tower in for (hopeful) rescue and all ended happily! This is easy to set up and use, no muss, no fuss, and is a solid piece of equipment. If you have a lot of media you'll want to go for 3T or larger, but 2T is more than enough for my needs.

Very good storage device, depending on your needs with the amount of memory, it does its thing no problem.

Nice and small. Half the size and twice the space Easy to carry in a pocket. With 2TB, can hold more date/pictures. I use it for backup and since I have all the data files and folder in just 3 larger folder, it is easy to just drag the folders over from another HD to this one.

These are always on sale and easy to use. I have one for all of my PlayStations.

Simple to Oder. When I ordered, I found it was on sale. All I had to do was plug it into my computer and the work was done. Could not be any simpler.

Easy to use. Only issue once paired with one system can’t use it with another to download more things.

Every external drive I've ever owned failed at some point. But what am I going to do? Either don't own a lot of games or get an external drive. There is a third option, delete and download as needed, but I don't have time for that noise. So like I said, so far so good. Good value, easy to use... quality? I'll give it 5 stars because it hasn't earned less... so far.

I purchased this for additional storage for my PS4 games. I can fit several games on here without worrying about space. May try on PS5.

works great as an external HD on my Dish system. this one is powered vis USB. my other drive have all required external power pack.

This is a great way to protect and store your pictures, documents, etc... Any thing you want to keep copies of. It helps clears space on your computers, tablets, phone by moving them to this wonderful device. Very easy to use. WD is a great, reliable brand. Best Buy has the best prices, too!!

Works just like it should. I didn't use the software, just plugged it in and saved files.

I needed this to store photos and videos as my iPhone memory became full all the time. This hard drive is lighter than a cell phone and smaller too.

Solidly built, data transfers are smooth and as fast as you'll get with a 2.5" mechanical drive. Only downside is that the plug receptacle on the unit isn't a USB-C, but a USB-Micro with an additional side connector that I assume is for power; as such it doesn't come with a generic USB cable, and I'm not sure it can use one - a generic USB Micro cable will fit, but it might not deliver enough power to spin up the disk. As such you'll need to make sure to not lose the USB cable that comes with the unit.

Large enough to accommodate a mouse and a keyboard if you want to leave the laptop on the table.
