This drive does exactly what it's supposed to, stores 2Tb and preserves it safely. Good price, good product.

Bought on sale. 2TB storage is more than enough space to back up my computer, photos and other items.

WD is s very reliable source for external hard drives. TotalTech did a wonderful job inmobing data from two old computers

It's not a expensive SSD of course but if you need something basic and don't need the high speeds of an SSD then this 2tb drive should be good to purchase. I am basically just using it to store files as my laptops internal hdd is only 1tb. It helps to keep my laptop storage clear and running more smoothly now that I freed up most of the internal storage. I do suggest an SSD however if you plan to run an OS or do projects that require a large amount of resources and better read/write speeds such as my hobby (building Android from source code and security research) which of course will most likely cost more $$$ than this standard drive.

Overall good quality, easy set up and plenty of storage space for video games.

I am using this portable hard drive as a "DVR" for my Dish Wally. I can pause and return to a show, record a program and do most things a full DVR can. The difference is you cannot record one show while watching another (unless you record Dish and watch antenna TV). After purchase and activation, it is free. No monthly programming fees. We really enjoy using it when a phone call comes in or we want to go backward in a show.

Bought this for my sis to store her films. It’s a decent hard drive nothing special but not bad at all.

Easy to use, transferred a bunch of pictures to it to clear up some space in my computer. I went with this one because I read a lot of good reviews and so far everything has worked good.

works great as an external HD on my Dish system. this one is powered vis USB. my other drive have all required external power pack.

I wanted something that was portable and lightweight that I could tuck away and keep anything I wanted backed up for myself. Would purchase again.

I have to buy this because my PC was something wrong but needed to keep using. To be safe at least we need these and now getting more easy to use.
