Has been working for an expansion for my laptop and hasn’t given up on me yet!

Worked exactly as intended. Installation process was smooth and easy to follow.

So far so good. I am using a Mac and set up Time Machine to write to this drive every so often. No complaints.

Second one I bought. This is serving as a back-up for the first one, which is a fairly common practice I do on important data(my CD library)

Easy install. Backup process was automatic. It took a little time for initial backup, I'm satisfied to know my data is backed up.

We watched for sales on portable external drives and this one came up. Great price, respected manufacturer.

Purchased when I had my computer worked on by geek squad so they had somewhere to store my files. It worked!

Works great. Simple plug and play software. Wish I had bought more than one. I always trust Western Digital.

So far so good!! Works as designed and expected. Nice form factor. The only thing I would change is to make it so it's not as smooth, it can slide off of any surface if not placed flat. Maybe put rubber bumpers on one side. So I like it and would purchase it again if the need arises. Devices like this are hard to rate early on because the reliability factor only comes into play over time and if it performs as expected when you really need it to. And if it doesn't, well, then it's crap. Right?

Nice little drive. Good capacity, plug-and-play. Got it on sale, but if I needed a drive in a pinch, it's worth the retail price.

I bought a new computer with only about 250 GB and this hard drive is awesome. Everything I Do on my computer that requires space, I put it on this hard drive, and saves the space on my computer. Easy to use, works great.

This was a great buy! Easy to use! I had a different brand external hard drive that was giving me a lot of issues with automatically disconnecting itself. No issues with this one!
