    The price of this external HD was better than most companies that I would buy from and as a bonus, it could be delivered the same day so I didn't spend very much time researching it like I normally do. I started my backup of ~300 GB of data expecting to chill with a pot of coffee until it was done. Well, the data transfer rates were awesome and I was very happy until I realized I could back to work quicker than my old HD

    Works faster than the seagate 2TB because seagate prefers that you use their software instead of going off your own parameters.

    I didn’t find the software that came on it to automatically back up stuff worth the space so I removed it. This is a great plug and use product. No lagging. Doesn’t get too hot either.
