    Not as fast as I would like. Bought to hold all 18K of my personal photos. Transfers are fairly quick but operating Apple Photos via this drive can be a little slow. Simple to use and good integration w/ Apple.

    I bought this for external storage for my play station 4. I downloads slow, but dose what I want it to do at a very low price compared to the other external hard drives I looked at. If I did it again I would do a solid state hard drive.

    I love these WD Easystore 2 TB External hard drives. Hard drives and marriages can fail. This drive provides backup storage that could save irreplaceable documents in an emergency. 2TB is a good size. Sure, you can buy much larger drives but don't put all your eggs in one basket. Backup, unplug and feel somewhat safe about the future of your documents and photos. Of course, all bets are off in the event of nuclear war.

    This is a fairly good quality hard-drive for the lower end price you pay. The only problem i had was that I couldn't get it to reformat to ExFat so I could use it on both my Mac and PC. It would have been ideal to use it for both, but it does work really well with Mac to Mac transfers!
