    Got this for the laptop bag to take data from home on the road. Just works and doesn't need any fancy connectors. Always had good luck with WD drives.

    This was purchased on behalf of a customer who needed to replace a backup drive for a server. It's a typical, external, spinning-disk drive. Nothing special, but I've generally found that these drives last several years without a problem. HOWEVER, never trust that your backed up data will be there when you need it. Always have another backup -either another drive or cloud service. Just in case.

    I got this so I wouldn’t have flashdrives laying around and not know what was where. It’s easy to reformat from just Windows to Mac and then for both!
