This is great for backing up your computer and usjng it as a portable storage device.

I bought it on sale for $50. My only complaints are: the drive wouldn't appear on my computer, I had to uninstall the drivers and restart my computer, I had to use Command prompt to activate the the unlisted drive. This is all on Windows 10. No issues on Windows 7.

This is a go to for storage. I put my music files on this so i definitely need the space

This was purchased on behalf of a customer who needed to replace a backup drive for a server. It's a typical, external, spinning-disk drive. Nothing special, but I've generally found that these drives last several years without a problem. HOWEVER, never trust that your backed up data will be there when you need it. Always have another backup -either another drive or cloud service. Just in case.

easy to install. I use it to store my cd collection ( 500 cds) . only used 22 gigs. plan to store downloaded games and pictures. it is very small. and comes with a short cord. I just sit it on top of my pc. my nephew recommended this unit, he says he stores 4k movies on his. it is a lot cheaper to buy an hdd than the ssd.
