    Bought this easystore drive to use to save pictures on my old computer. Best Buy was able to save to save all my pictures from my old computer to this hard drive. Otherwise I would have lost a lot of pictures.

    This was purchased on behalf of a customer who needed to replace a backup drive for a server. It's a typical, external, spinning-disk drive. Nothing special, but I've generally found that these drives last several years without a problem. HOWEVER, never trust that your backed up data will be there when you need it. Always have another backup -either another drive or cloud service. Just in case.
