    WD & Seagate are now one, and are changing their packaging, etc. This was one of the last WD back-up drives and was on sale for roughly $70 dollars...couldn't beat the price for a 2T drive. Not sure if Best Buy still has any in stock, but if you're looking for a portable back-up drive, run down and see if they are still available

    I bought this for use with the Mac, and the software that came with it didn't work at all. Once I figured out how to just wipe it clean and reformat it, it works great. Good form factor, too.

    I got this hard drive as a second backup to my main hard drive and it works well. I hasn't crashed or failed in a year that I've owned it. Its reliable and it has normal speeds. If you're looking for a downside I guess it's a bit thicker, other than that its a good hard drive.
